It is just below the computer. The plug that goes in at the bottom of the reservoir was leaking (see picture).

I put it in there correctly and even tested it with water and pressurizing the reservoir. I'd fill the tank up with washer fluid, take a look at the tank, and see if the seals around the pumps are leaking.

Disconnect the windshield washer tube assembly from the pump and release the windshield washer tube assembly from the washer reservoir. You may like my other videos.

I ordered a new one and replaced it. My fluid was leaking from the rubber gasket that connects the pump to the reservoir.

Can the pump be removed without removing the reservoir? As for the leak going down your rear window would be the check valve going to the rear.

Hi all, i have a 2008 3.6l touareg that has started leaking windshield washer fluid out of a molded hole in the fitting on the top of the reservoir (pn 7l0955453f) which i confirmed using a fiber optic camera. It is just below the computer. I stopped at the dealer and got a new grommet ($7.80) must have gold inside rubber!

They Are Black And About The Width Of A Nickel Going Around The Where The Pump Goes Into The Tank.

The gasket is a little thicker than the original. Used a small 10mm wrench to work the nut off. Probably one of those things the dealer will say costs $500 to fix.

My windshield washer reservoir is slowly emptying. The washer reservoir is indeed removable without having to disassemble the entire front end. Rather than removing the wheel and inner fender liner i just knew the grommet at the pump must be the culprit.

When i put the pump back in it was a noticeably tighter fit when pushing down on the top of the pump into the holding bracket.
